    Chris I made these stuffed prunes every time I had parties since my early twenties. I’d stick the stuffed prunes onto toothpicks and then stick the toothpicks onto apples or oranges; I’m now 61 and I still do. I love them but I must try the Nutella as you said; it sounds good!

    My mom used to make these for me when I was little. I bought some prunes yesterday and made some for myself. Just for curiosity, I googled to see if anyone else eats these and your website was the first I saw. Now I have to look at all your recipes while I’m here!

    As an idea has anyone tried soaking the prunes in spiced rum over night if so did it work??

    Thanks for a trip down memory lane. I remember these lovely treats at my mum's parties.I live in the UK and people think I am crazy when I serve them. My mum also had the prunes stuffed with pink and white icing.

    I still love these, I remember growing up in Trinidad when my older brothers and sister used to have their house parties and this was a must along with cheese paste sandwiches, and other fine delicacies..
